Thought the wind was light, and was only going to take my bigger board, but chucked in the smaller one as well since there was room on Adam's car. Correct decision - got to the beach to be pleasantly surprised to find out it was proper windy. Well powered up on my 5.2 all session. The Bee felt just right under my feet for the conditions as well (no proper waves). Was good to remember what a nice board it is in these conditions, better than the Axxis I was sailing all summer.

Good conditions but not the best of sessions since I didn't make a single dry gybe. Which after 10 weeks in Brazil was quite annoying. My excuses are:
- difficult, tiring conditions; very choppy; some good jumping but no flat water for easy gybing
- having to launch on port tack after 10 weeks of being a starboard man in Jeri
- general rustiness, having not sailed for 3 weeks since returning from Brazil

Should be able to get out on Wednesday again, so fingers crossed for some slightly easier conditions and better performance.

Annoyingly, found a hole in the leech of the top panel of my 5.2 after coming off the water, next to the old ones sustained in Jeri. Grrrr.
